The Chatham Planet

The Chatham Planet started as the Chatham Journal and was published weekly from 1857 to 1891, when it became a daily. The Planet would merge with the Chatham Daily News in 1922.

The Planet was published by the Chatham Planet Printing and Publishing Company and its building is believed by some to be the inspiration for "The Daily Planet building" in the Superman series.
