c.1898; "Nig" [Justin] Clarke was an outstanding baseball player for Assumption College. He was a power hitter and catcher, went on to play professional baseball, and appears in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. He was born in Amherstburg in 1882 and died in 1949.
