Windsor Ford V-8 Basketball Team won the silver medal at the Berlin Olympic Games; the Edmonton Grads were the women's Canadian basketball team. They swept four consecutive Olympic Games from 1924-1936, winning all 27 matches that they played. However, women's basketball was only a demonstration sport, so no medals were awarded.
