Notes: c. 1990; Fergie Jenkins Sr. was born in Windsor in 1909. He was an outfielder for the Chatham Coloured All-Stars baseball team. He died October 31, 1996. In 2022, along with his team, he was awarded the Order of Sport and inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. The man in the photograph is his son, Fergie Jenkins Junior, who was a Major League Baseball player. |
