During the War, it was located at 258 Chllver Road in Walkerville, in the Peabody Building (no longer standing). In about 1947, they moved to 1370 Argyle Road. They contributed to the war effort by producting products such as gas detection kits. The president at that time was Robert P. Scherer. The woman with the green X above her head is Patricia Gwendolyn Whetstone (nee Ryerson).
