Notes: Central Methodist Church (628 Ouellette Avenue) is now called Central United Church; London Street Methodist Church was also known as the West End Methodist Church, and later the West End United Church; the Ontario Chapel (African) is the British Methodist Episcopal Church, which was located at 67 (later new numbering: 363) McDougall Street. The original First Baptist Church was located on the northeast corner of McDougall Street and Albert Street (later London Street East, now University Avenue East). The synagogue was located on the southeast corner of Mercer Street and Brant Street. |
