Notes: Dated 1937; distillery offices of Hiram Walker and Sons on Sandwich Street East (now Riverside Drive East) in Walkerville, Ontario; decorated for coronation year; the distillery offices took 2 years to build and officially opened in 1894; "distillers of Canadian Club Whisky, Walkerville, Ontario, Canada; established 1858"; the coronation was originally for King Edward VIII who was supposed to be crowned on May 12th, 1937; when he abdicated, the same coronation date was kept for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. |
