Notes: The Family Theatre, aka Follies Theatre is on the corner. It opened in 1909 and was destroyed by fire in 1973; a sign for Fisk Balloon Cords (tires) is on the roof; the skyscraper next door is the Real Estate Exchange Building (now the Cadillac Square Building). It was built in 1918 and designed by Louis Kamper. The tallest, white skyscraper is the Barlum Tower (now the Cadillac Tower). It was built in 1927 by Bonah And Chaffee; the address is 68 Cadillac Square. The smaller white building to the right is the Barlum Hotel (now the Cadillac Square Apartments); it was also built in 1927 by Bonah and Chaffee; the address is 111 Cadillac Square. |
