Notes: Postmarked 1913; looking west along Main Street (aka Notre Dame Street) from Church Street in Belle River, Ontario; addressed to Miss C. Meyer; Church Street is now Dupuis Street. On the southeast corner of Main Street and Church Street: Mousseau, T. L, General Merchant (publisher of this card); on the southwest corner is St. Jean Baptiste School. In 1881, it was transferred from the Public School Board (section no. 5) to the Catholic Separate School Board (section no. 5). It was demolished in 1956. |
