Notes: C. 1965; Assumption High School, located and 1100 Huron Church Road, was founded by the Basilian Fathers in 1870 as part of Assumption College (which is now the University of Windsor). Assumption High School was at first a private boarding school for male students only, but later took in day students and in 1971, with the merging of St. Mary's Academy, it became a co-educational secondary school within the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. |
