Its dimensions are: length of main span 1,850 feet, total length 2 miles. The height over the river is 152 feet." View of the Ambassador Bridge is from the American side of Detroit River, west of the bridge. The larger boat on the right is the J.W. Westcott II which delivers mail to passing ships (mainly freighters); its base is in Detroit.
