Smith Company Limited Store for dry goods can be seen on the east side Ouellette Avenue between Sandwich Street (now Riverside Drive) and Pitt Street; the building on the northeast corner of Pitt Street and Ouellette Avenue is the Huron And Erie Building; it housed various businesses including the Huron And Erie Mortgage Corporation and the Canada Trust Company; on the southeast corner is the Royal Bank - previously located on the northwest corner of Pitt Street and Ouellette Avenue, it moved to the southeast corner c. 1913; on back of card: "Corner of Pitt St. and Oulette Ave. Typical view of Windsor Streets on a summer afternoon."
