c. 1928; the Paramount Cafeteria was located in the basement of the Paramount Building (completed 1928)and had a seating capacity of 200; the Paramount Building was located at 325-327 Ouellette Avenue, on the west side of Ouellette Avenue between London Street (now University Avenue) and Park Street; the Paramount Building also housed financial, law and real estate offices and later, a beauty salon; the Paramount Cafeteria is currently Basil Court Thai Restaurant.
