Notes: The Mettawas Casino was part of the Mettawas Hotel which was located in Kingsville on Lake Erie. It was designed by the firm, Mason & Rice (Detroit), and built for Hiram Walker. The hotel opened on July 10th, 1889, and was mostly demolished in 1903/1904. The casino survived until after World War II. |
