Wiljhelm; in the foreground is Assumption Church with the parish residence to the right (built c. 1897); London Street (now University Avenue) runs in front; Dillon Hall is behind and to the left of the Church; Patricia Road runs in front of Dillon Hall. In the background, to the left, Prince of Wales Public School is just visible (on Wyandotte Street at Askin Avenue). It was built 1919/1920 and was demolished in January 2009. The Centre for Engineering Innovation, University of Windsor, is now on this site. |
