Wagner; the photograph shows Ouellette Avenue, just north of the intersection with Chatham Street; on the right (west side): are the gardens behind the Post Office; on the southwest corner of Ouellette Avenue and Chatham Street is the Victoria Building (a.k.a. Victoria Block). The Imperial Bank of Canada is on the ground floor. There is also a sign for M. J. Holmes, a milliner (31 Ouellette Avenue); on the left (east side): Curry Hall (later the Heintzman Building), at the southeast corner of Ouellette Avenue and London Street, is visible in the background. |
