Limited, on the northwest corner of the intersection, was a Chatham company that made carriages; the Herendeen Hotel is on the southwest corner of Pitt St. E. and Goyeau Street; this area was one of Windsor's factory districts; "Quaker Oats: the work food"; right side: Sandwich Street looking west; Windsor Station, built in 1884 and closed in 1961, is visible; it was the CN station and was located just east of Ouellette Avenue, north of Sandwich Street, at Goyeau Avenue. |
