Notes: Ernestine Russell and her coach Bernie Newman; Ernestine Russell (married names: Carter, then later Weaver) was a Canadian champion gymnast of the 1950s; Bernie Newman was the founder of the Windsor Gymnastics Club, a teacher, and also MPP for Windsor-Walkerville from 1959-1987.
The Windsor Gymnastics Club operated on a vacant lot at Tecumseh Road East and Kildare/Chilver Roads.
