Chrysler Corporation designed and built these three new miniature streamlined engines and donated them to the Detroit News Zoological Park Railroad in memory of the company's founder, Walter P. Chrysler, and in tribute to two prominent Detroiters, William E. Scripps and Walter O. Briggs. As many as 1,000,000 people use this railroad in a year."
