Notes: 
c. 1940; shows the Prince Edward Hotel on the northeast corner of Ouellette Avenue and Park Street. The rose garden, actually just a row of roses, ran along the sidewalk to hide the tunnel plaza behind. It was planted to commemorate the coronation of George VI in 1937.
