c. 1953; "Detroit Michigan, located on the banks of the Detroit River between Lakes Huron and Erie. With a population of 1 1/2 million it is the 4th largest city in the United States. This view taken from Windsor, Ontario. 94% of all American passenger cars are manufactured here." The skyscraper under construction (on the right) is probably the Coleman A. Young Municipal Building. It was started in 1951 and finished in 1954. The ship is HMCS Wolf (PTC 762). From 1949 - 1956 she served as a tender to HMCS Hunter.
