Several gunboats were built here and formed part of Captain Barclay's ill-fated fleet which was fitted out and set sail for Put-in-Bay, September 9th 1813; the location is now Waterworks Park in Amherstburg, Ontario; addressed to Miss Annie D. Oakes.
