Notes: C. 1910; St. Alphonsus Church is located at 85 Park Street East, on the southwest corner of Park Street and Goyeau Steet. It was built in 1871 and opened on July 1, 1873. The original steeple was destroyed by a violent wind storm on November 29, 1919; 50 feet of the spire collapsed, spreading debris to nearby streets and property; the postcard is addressed to Miss Elenora Stret. |
