Notes: c. 1930; "Steamer "Britannia," Windsor, Ontario, Canada. One of the Detroit and Windsor Ferry Company's steamers, which ferries between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario. The Britannia is one of the newest and most modernly equipped of the Detroit and Windsor Ferry Company's Boats. It has a capacity of 3,000 passengers and 60 automobiles."; built in 1906, the Britannia carried passengers and automobiles across the Detroit River until 1961.
