Notes: 
The Essex County War Memorial was designed by George F. Masson to remember those who died in World War I; it was unveiled on November 11th, 1924. It was originally located at the intersection of Giles Boulevard and Ouellette Avenue, facing Ouellette Avenue. In 1965, it was moved to University Avenue, north of City Hall; on the southwest corner, Rexall Drugs can be seen; the building was known as the Parker Building.
