Inside: Canada to wit: Victoria by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the Faith. To the Sheriff of the County of Essex. Greeting. We command you, that you take Isaac Leek if he shall be found in your County, so that you may have his body before our Justices assigned to keep the Peace in and for the County of Essex, to answer us concerning a Bill of Indictment whereof he stands charged, if the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace be there sitting: but if the said Isaac Leek cannot be taken during the sitting of the said court, then we command you that so soon after as he shall be taken, you do bring him or cause him to be brought before some Justice of the Peace of the said County of Essex, to be dealt with according to law; and in what manner you shall have executed this our Writ, we command you that you make appear to us upon the execution hereof.
