Notes: Petite Cote is now part of LaSalle; unknown structure on waterfront - possibly an early windmill?; Henry and Harley Chappell ran 3 successive hotels starting in 1865; in the beginning they catered to the Sandwich mineral spring tourists; however, the third hotel,at 3885 Sandwich Street, became a prohibition road house, and was finally destroyed by fire in 2006.
