Notes:
Petite Cote is now part of LaSalle; unknown structure on waterfront - possibly an early windmill?; Henry and Harley Chappell had a farm and ran 3 successive hotels starting in 1875; the first was Shore Acres, then the Mineral Springs Hotel; however, the third hotel, at 3885 Sandwich Street, became a prohibition road house, and was finally destroyed by fire in 2006.
